Cinnamon Leaf Oil

Latin name - Cinnamomum zeylanicum

Cinnamon Leaf Oil originates from Sri Lanka and  is steam distilled from the leaves.

A clear to light amber oil providing a warm, spicy fragrance characteristic of fresh ground cinnamon and although widely used as a domestic spice Cinnamon Leaf Oil has traditionally been used in medicine and has many uses within Aromatherapy.

A lovely, warming oil which can be stimulating to the system, aid in relief of muscular aches and pains, aids digestion and encourages appetite.
(Caution - Should be used sparingly on skin due to risk of skin irritation, should not be used on babies & young children. Price & Price, 2007)

Also being a powerful antiseptic & germ killer Cinnamon Leaf Oil is ideal for vaporising in your room to banish those nasty cold and flu bugs bouncing around our air waves at the moment.

Blends well with orange & clove oils..mmm fantastic aroma blend to be floating around your home or workplace during these wintery months and with all the health benefits too!
